With 20 years in the financial services industry, Jake Lowrey is a financial planning expert who can customize the perfect mix of strategies for any client – whether a C-suite executive, a small business owner or a retiree planning their next chapter.
Jake was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Business/Finance/Investment Banking and Insurance. His journey to financial planning began at home when his mother passed away from cancer at age 47 when Jake was still in college. His mother didn’t have a trust and Jake and his family struggled to handle the family’s finances.
Thankfully, Jake’s mother’s close friend was a financial advisor and an attorney and she helped the family through the ordeal. Her work was crucial but it also was a life lesson for Jake. It inspired him to pursue a career in financial planning so other families could avoid the difficulties his family went through.
After graduating from college, Jake went to work for a private financial advisory firm, where he specialized in long-term planning and asset protection. In 2005, he started Lowrey Financial Group, pledging that his clients would have the best opportunity for a “Confident Financial Future” and creating his five-step “Financial Freedom Plan.”
With Mass Wealth Management, he is continuing that mission. He is also the host of the popular “Mass Wealth Radio” weekly radio show, on which he discusses trends and news in finance, health care, retirement, estate planning, and more, and answers questions from listeners across the country. The show airs Saturdays at noon on WRKO-680 AM in Boston, and 3 p.m. in New Hampshire and Vermont on WNTK 99.7 FM and WUVR 98.9 FM and 1490 AM. The show is also available for streaming anytime on iHeart Radio (HYPERLINK).
Jake’s proven track record of success and attention to detail has made him a trusted voice in the financial planning space. His expertise has garnered national news coverage in Forbes, Fox Business, Financial Advisor Magazine, and Kiplinger.
He’s also a dedicated supporter of the Jimmy Fund and Mercy Ships, a global charitable organization that provides health care for children and families in need around the world.
